Can you provide linen?

Yes, for a small fee (currently £15.00 per person) we can make sure you have fresh  towels, sheets and duvet covers on arrival, saving you washing when you return home relaxed! Let us know on the booking form if you require our linen service and if so you can pay our caretaker directly on arrival.

Is gas and electricity included?

Yes, all gas and electricity is included in the price. This includes use of central heating, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Is Carpenters suitable for the disabled?

Unfortunately Carpenters is not suitable for wheelchair users, but it may be suitable for people with mobility problems. Although the property is a bungalow, there are a few steps down from the parking area and 2 steps up into the bungalow. Inside there are 2 steps into the lounge and 2 steps into the bathroom and toilet. There is an en-suite on the same level as the lounge. If you have mobility problems we suggest that you contact us directly in advance of booking to check suitability.

Are there any baby facilities?

Yes, we have a travel cot, although you will need to provide your own bedding. There is also a high chair.

How do I book my holiday?

You will need to contact us either by phone or the form on this website. On receipt of your enquiry a booking form will be sent to you, either by email or by post, and your holiday will be booked on receipt of the completed booking form and a non-returnable deposit of £75.00

We require payment least 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. Regrettably we are unable to send a reminder.

When do I pay the remainder of the holiday cost?

You can pay either by cheque or directly into our bank account. If you wish to pay directly into our bank account just let us know and we will give you our bank details. Unfortunately we do not accept credit/debit cards.

How do I pay for my holiday?

When a booking has been confirmed in writing by us, the hirer becomes liable for the total holiday cost, with any balance outstanding being due no later than 8 weeks before the holiday start date. Should payment not be received within 8 weeks the deposit will be forfeited and the holiday offered for resale. The hirer will remain liable for the balance of the holiday cost if a resale is not effected.  Cancellation insurance is therefore recommended.

What if I need to cancel?

Yes, we accept up to a maximum of 2 dogs at the owners' discretion. There is a small charge of £15.00 per dog per week.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, short breaks may be available in low season. These normally run from Friday until Monday or from Tuesday until Friday, although it may be possible to book other days. Please contact us for availability and price.
