About Combe Martin

Combe Martin, situated in a region designated as an area of “Outstanding Natural Beauty” on the English Heritage North Devon Coast, and on the edge of Exmoor National Park, is the ideal base for all types of holidays. Castle Street forms part of what is thought to be the second longest village street in the country. There are a variety of shops and 6 pubs along the length of the village, including the famous 17th Century Pack ‘O Cards. There are many footpaths to explore together with beaches, the harbour and the South West Coastal Path.

Also worth visiting are the beaches at Woolacombe (Blue Flag), Saunton Sands and Croyde (all suitable for surfing); the historic harbour town of Ilfracombe; the market town of Barnstaple (its Pannier Market is always worth a visit), Wistlandpound Reservoir; Lynton and Lynmouth.
